This report is about the biology of the Jemez Mountains salamander (Plethodon neomexicanus) and the Sacramento Mountain salamander (Aneides hardyi) (sic). The distribution of each species is based upon previously known localities, recent findings, and assessing potential habitat. Discusses responses to climatic factors, reproductive cycles, and size groups based upon snout-vent length. Genetic variation was analyzed using electrophoresis. Contains considerable morphological data from collected specimens.
