This report summarizes field measurements of physical stream habitat, stream aesthetics, fish population data, aquatic insect data, stream stability, riffle analysis, and stream flow made in Glacier National Park. A total of 14 stream sampling stations were established: 12 stations (involving 11 streams) within the North Fork of the Flathead River drainage along the park''s west side, 1 station at Fish Creek near Lake McDonald, and 1 station at Cut Bank Creek on the park''s east side. This report presents a species list of aquatic insects, which were sampled from the 11 North Fork streams using a 1-meter wide "kick screen." Also presented is a fish species list, based on "electrofishing" samples from all 13 streams and on gill netting samples from Kintla, Bowman, Logging, and McDonald Lakes. And water chemistry analysis for the 11 North Fork streams and McDonald Creek is summarized.
