This thesis focuses on grizzly bears and their incompatibility with human interaction and development. This includes exploitation and development of natural resources such as forests, oil, gas, and minerals over a large portion of their range. The area that this study was conducted included the southeastern portion of British Columbia in the North Fork of the Flathead River.
