This study is designed to capture baseline information about amphibians in the Rocky Mountains. The primary goals are to evaluate the decline in amphibians and attempt to determine their causes, and predict effects of global change on amphibian populations. This specific study aims to determine demographic parameters and their variability in montane amphibians; to determine the relationship between climate and amphibian life history; and to determine if increasing UV-B radiation contributes to the decline of Bufo boreas.
