A new tissue-grade organism 1.5 billion years old from Montana

Horodyskia moniliformis, a new genus and new species from the Appekunny Formation in Glacier National Park is described. Enough detail is available to potentially tell the color of these organisms when they were living. It was also found that the organism exhibited a form of colonial growth.
