Weckwerth RP and Hawley VD. 1962. Marten Food Habits and Population Fluctuations in Montana. The Journal of Wildlife Management. 26(1):55-74
An ecological study of a population of marten has been conducted since 1952 on a 6-square-mile area in the northwestern section of Glacier National Park, Montana. This paper presents information obtained from 1952 through 1957 on the relationships between the food habits of marten and the fluctuations of marten and prey populations on the area.
