Home range sizes and population dynamics of pine martens in Glacier National Park, based on live-trapping 1952-1954. There were 525 captures of 85 martens (54 male, 31 female) based on a total of 3993 trap units. Eleven home ranges were enclosed within the 6 sq. mile study area. Mean home range size of 0.92 sq. miles for males is significantly different that the mean of 0.27 sq. miles for females.
