Thesis discusses bald eagle study that was conducted during the summers of 1985 and 1986, in four areas of Montana. These areas include the Northwest Population, the West-Central Population, the Greater Yellowstone Population, and the Eastern Prairie Population. The focus of this study is to provide detailed information of nest site vegetative and structural characteristics, determine prey use and human activity factors relative to habitat use by bald eagles, and to develop basic recommendations for nest site management.
