Mclellan BN and Shackleton DM. 1988. A Comparison of Grizzly Bear Harvest Data from Montana and Southeastern British Columbia. Wildlife Society Bulletin. 16(4):371-375

Grizzly bear harvest data was obtained from the Northern Continental Divide Ecosystem of Montana and the East Kootenay Region of British Columbia. This paper discusses and compares harvest data for grizzly bears between these two adjacent areas. An estimation of relative rates of harvest mortality and trends in differential vulnerability of age and sex classes is investigated.
