Hall TJ and Et Al.. 1983. Glacier National Park fishery investigations progress document, 1983. US Fish and Wildlife Service, Northwest Montana Fish and Wildlife Center. Kalispell, MT
This report summarizes physical stream habitat ratings, stream aesthetics ratings, fish population data, aquatic insect data, stream stability ratings, substrate percentages, and stream flows for 5 streams within the Saint Mary River drainage on Glacier National Park''s east side. A total of 6 stream sampling stations were established: 2 on Divide Creek, 1 on Boulder Creek, 1 on Kennedy Creek, 1 on Otatso Creek, and 1 on Lee Creek. This report presents an aquatic insect species list, based on stream samples collected with a 1-meter wide "kick screen," and a fish species list, based on "electrofishing" samples from the 5 streams. In addition, a brief summary of water chemistry analysis is presented. This report uses a format similar to the 1977-1981 annual reports of Fish and Wildlife Service investigations within the North and Middle Forks of the Flathead River and the Missouri River drainages.
