Downed woody material was measured at Bandelier National Monument, NM, from September 26 to November 24, 1976 (prior to the La Mesa Fire). Fuel loads, snag density, stand density, crown cover, and laddering potential were measured using the planar intersect method or the line-strip method. Includes a map of the sampling sites and results in tabular form.
