Sportfish tissue and bottom sediment samples from 10 Washington lakes were analyzed for EPA priority pollutants, herbicides, and pesticides. The level of chemical contamination was usually very low. Lake Crescent in Olympic National Park, WA was sampled as a reference lake "removed from significant sources of chemical contamination."
