1989 Redwood Creek summer steelhead trout survey

Anderson DG. 1989. 1989 Redwood Creek summer steelhead trout survey. Redwood National Park

Annual surveys in this series provide quantitative data on steelhead trout spawning in streams of the Redwood Creek basin. In this 9th consecutive year of surveying, snorkelers found no live steelhead and one carcass. Water quality is poor, with temperatures considerably above that preferred by steelhead. A table lists locations surveyed, with water temperatures.
