East Fork of the Jemez River Stream Flow and Water Quality Measurement

Gerbrandt H. 1991. East Fork of the Jemez River Stream Flow and Water Quality Measurement. 43-8379-1-0402. US Forest Service, Santa Fe National Forest

Stream flow and water quality was measured in the east fork of the Jemez River, NM, at Battleship Rock and at Las Conchas Campground. The flow rates were measured with a portable flow velocity meter. The water was tested for chlorine, phosphates, fecal coliforms, heavy metals, alkalinity, and dissolved oxygen. The results were compared to a downstream US Geological Survey gaging station.
