A specific study of the Parashant grazing allotment at Twin Point on the Shivwits Plateau, which is on the north rim of the Grand Canyon. Vegetation and ground cover sampling was done to determine impacts. Trend conditions are as follows: With increasing distance from the boundary, there is gradual deterioration in range condition. Rosa stellata is a Federal candidate species found here. Cattle are not grazing here at this time, and recommendations are to keep them off this range. Vegetation is comprised of two life zones intermingled: pinyon-juniper woodland and pine forest.
