This study examined the general conditions and their interrelations in subtropical shallow waters of several stations in the Miami area. The stations were chosen to cover a wide range of environmental conditions. Most of the stations were in Biscayne Bay, and some were located in Biscayne National Park such as Featherbed Bank, Elliott Key, Soldier Key, and Triumph Reef. The parameters examined include physical, biological, and chemical conditions. Tables and graphs present data such as temperature, salinity, dissolved oxygen levels, phosphate levels, nitrogen levels, plankton volumes, types of diatoms and copepods, and fouling organisms.
