1991. An ecological survey of Weir Farm, Wilton/Ridgefield, CT

This document describes the results of a two-day survey of the vegetation and vegetation of Weir Farm by staff biologists of the Connecticut Department of Environmental Protection for the Natural Diversity Data Base. The document includes a general description of the region, methods, results of the soil survey, listing of the major soil types, results of the vegetation survey (mostly forest: oak-viburnum type is the dominate forest type), brief description of critical environmental features, and recommendations concerning vegetation management. Three pages are a checklist of vascular plants of Weir Farm. Last page is a map of existing vegetation.
