Objectives of the study, undertaken at Big Bend National Park, were to: (1) determine the species composition, dates of occurrence, habitats, roosts, sex and age ratios, and relative number of bats, especially at their peak of activity in summer; (2) study movements, daily activity, migration, hibernation, habits, longevity, any annual density changes of species, and activity variations correlated with weather (some conclusions restricted because of limited data); and (3) investigate food habits, parasites, reproduction and ethological traits.
