The reproduction, behavior, population, food habits, movements, etc. of badgers at Snake River Birds of Prey Area. Study has relevance to CIRO (City of Rocks National Reserve) area. Population variables, movement, activity, and food habits of a badger population in southwestern Idaho, compared to data from other badger studies. Objectives of the study were to identify adaptations related to fossorial predation, determine density, sex and age structure and other characteristics of the badger population, investigate movements, activity and social organization of badgers and to gather data on food habits as an aid to assessing the role of the badger as a predator. Study took place in the Snake River Birds of Prey area. Geographic location:Snake River Birds of Prey Area near Boise Idaho
