This report studies the effects of acid deposition at four study sites. Sequoia-Kings Canyon, Rocky Mountain, Olympic, and Isle Royale National Parks. There are four objectives for Isle Royale. Snowpack dynamics and nutrient content in small watershed ecosystems of the Lake Superior Basin. Input/output mineral nutrient budgets for moderately buffered and "sensitive" lake/watershed ecosystems. Comparison of anion mobility in boreal forest and northern hardwood forests of Isle Royale National Park. Primary productivity and standing crop in sensitive and less sensitive lakes, Isle Royale National Park and Michigan's Upper Peninsula.
