This report is about the effects of the La Mesa Fire on populations of small mammals. Live trapping was conducted during the summers of 1977, 1978, and 1979 in pinyon-juniper woodland, ponderosa forest, fir-ponderosa forest, and riparian woodland. Includes maps of the trapping grids and lists the animal densities and vegetative cover at each forest type.
