Recreational boating was monitored on the lower St. Croix and upper Mississippi Rivers using aerial photos collected on weekdays and weekends at three different times. The number of boats using the rivers each day was estimated and the type of boats observed was recorded. Results are reported for the lower St. Croix River and Mississippi River Pools 2-4 and Pools 4-11.
