Evaluation of Rainbow Trout Removal Project; Sams Creek, Great Smoky Mountains National Park

Whitworth WE. 1979. Evaluation of Rainbow Trout Removal Project; Sams Creek, Great Smoky Mountains National Park. The University of Tennessee. Knoxville, TN

The portion of the stream tested was electrofished three times, results tabulated. The conclusion was that this method alone would probably never result in complete removal. The author recommended that it be continued, and combined with restocking brook trout, rather than using chemical icthyocides.
