This paper examines several factors affecting growth of spiny lobsters and discusses implications to maturation and fishery yield. Some of the factors discussed include temperature, injuries, air exposure, handling, and confinement. Lobsters used in this study were collected from the upper and middle Florida Keys and from Florida Bay, Everglades National Park. Graphs and tables present the data.
