A general management plan for Lassen Volcanic National Park, California to guide development and visitor use in the park. Major actions of the plan include removal of developments in the Manzanita Lake area; construction of interpretive centers at the two main entrances to the park; retention of the present capacity of the ski area with improved facilities; and areplacement of inadequate sewage treatment facilities in the park. This is the final environmental impact statement for the general management plan for Lassen Volcanic National Park. Major actions of the plan include removal of developments in the Manzanita Lake are, construction of interpretive centers at each of the two main entrances to the park, and a replacement of inadequate sewage treatment facilities in the park. The ski area is discussed briefly. Environmental impacts and adverse effects are given. Included is a description of the proposal and the environment, environmental impacts of the proposed action, adverse effects which cannot be avoided should the proposal be implemented, the relationship between local short-term uses of man's environment and the maintenance and enhancement of long-term productivity, and alternatives to the proposed actions.
