This report embodies the results of an archeological study of the site of the Hudson’s Bay Company trading post of Fort Vancouver on the Columbia River in the present State of Washington. From the beginning of the work in 1947 until the final shovelful of earth was replaced over the historic site in 1952 many individuals and institutions helped greatly with the problems encountered during the excavations.
