This report is a human health risk assessment, in accordance with U.S. Environmental Protection Agencyguidance, for the consumption of fish and shellfish collected from Tutuila Island in American Samoa. Fish and shellfish samples were collected from 12 sites on Tutuila Island and its surrounding harbor. Samples were analyzed for eight metals (arsenic, chromium, copper, lead, mercury, nickel, selenium, and zinc) and several organochloride compounds (OC) including pesticides. Large differences were seen in analyte concentrations both within and among the various fish and shellfish species collected. Includes tables showing the presence of each compound at the test sites.
