A study concerned with the reintroduction of the Perdido Key beach mouse (Peromyscus polionotus trissyllepsis) to the Gulf Islands National Seashore (GUIS) in Florida and Mississippi. The methods for reintroducing the Perdido Key beach mouse to GUIS are described. The vegetation of the release site is described. The results concerning observed mammal tracks, mouse population data, vegetation abundance, and relocation numbers are presented in tabular form. A map shows the location of release sites.
