Final report: Statistical analysis of historic water quality data from the Middle Delaware Scenic and Recreational River

Breidt FJ and Boes DC. 1989. Final report: Statistical analysis of historic water quality data from the Middle Delaware Scenic and Recreational River. National Park Service//Colorado State University. Denver

The purpose of this investigation was 1) to characterize historic water quality in the Middle Delaware, and 2) to develop statistically-based water quality criteria for potential use in establishing non-degradation standards for this segment of the Delaware River. This project statistically analyzed and discussed the historical water quality data for the Delaware River. Despite problems with the historical data, the establishment of water quality standards based on ambient conditions is possible, and the potential for productive interaction between statisticians and water quality experts in the establishment of these standards is great.
