This report is a fire history of northern New Mexico based on ponderosa pine fire scar samples collected at Bandelier National Monument and the Santa Fe National Forest. Samples were taken from Mesa de la Gallina, Capulin Canyon, Clear Creek Campground, and Monument Canyon Natural Area. Includes intervals between fires for each site, fire frequencies, and a summary of fire scar dates for Gallina Mesa, Capulin and Monument Canyons.
