Russell R. 1980. A Fisheries inventory of waters in the Lake Clark National Monument area. Alaska Department of Fish and Game, Division of Sport Fish. Juneau, AK
(Adapted from author's abstract.) This report summarizes the results of a 1978-79 fisheries resource inventory of the Lake Clark area conducted by the Alaska Dept. of Fish and Game. The document provides baseline fisheries and human-use data for those tasked with formulating land, water, and resource policies for the proposed Lake Clark National Park and Preserve. Investigations were conducted on 27 lakes and portions of 13 rivers within the boundaries of the proposed Park and Preserve. The report presents information on distribution, age, growth, relative abundance, food habits, and spawning for most of the 22 fish species captured. Some limnological investigations were conducted on the surveyed lakes, and this information is also given. The report includes a bibliography and sampling results enumerated by lake and river
