This study, conducted by a Missouri Southern State College student, documents the results of a survey of the fishes found at George Washington Carver National Monument in comparison to a previous study conducted August 13, 1983 by Dr. Gerald Elick of Missouri Southern State College. In addition, it was conducted to determine if any change is present to harm the streams and fishes. Materials used are identified. A brief description of each station includes location, depth, species present, and bottom consistencies. A table lists the common name, scientific name, and frequency of species (rare, common, abundant). Conclusions and recommendations of the study are included.
