Collections of plants were made on 64 field trips completed during the 1980 and 1981 growing seasons (March-November). These activities resulted in more than 1200 preserved specimens upon which the annotated checklist in this report is based. All voucher specimens are housed in the UNC-Wilmington Herbarium and are available to anyone wishing to examine them.
