An increase in the number of foreign visitors especially those on organized tours at Grand Canyon National Park prompted this survey. This was conducted in order to find out and accommodate visitors' needs and to evaluate tour itinerary. Research methods utilized were time-budget analysis, a questionnaire translated into four languages, and participant observations, and informal interviews. A copy of the questionnaire in English, German, French, Japanese, and Spanish can be found in the Appendix.
