In the course of building up a working herbarium at the Park headquarters, one author assembled extensive collections, especially of woody plants. An effort was made to get specimens of the trees and shrubs planted around Skyland, various Park installations, and old homesites. This resulted in a considerable number of additions to the Checklist of Plants. This article provides new records and critical notes on the Shenandoah National Park flora.
