Past climatological events were compared to tree-ring indices to extrapolate future precipitation for Los Alamos, NM. Variances in atmosphere, continental surfaces, solar radiation, and the earth's orbit were studied. The author acknowledges that the reliability of derived models is dependent upon unpredictable variables beyond the scope of this work.
