The notebook contains a little correspondence, the proposal, and a brief annual report. A casual preliminary survey had turned up galls made by nine wasp species on Ajo oaks in Organ Pipe Cactus National Monument. The 1985 annual report on "Cynipid oak gall wasps of Ajo oak in the Organ Pipe National Monument" notes 85 galls collected on January 28, 1984, representing nine wasp species, including three which may be new to science. One of these (Disholcaspis cf. pedunculoides) has been found only on Ajo oak within Organ Pipe Cactus National Monument.
