Geohydrologic inventory and data charts of 845 drilled wells, 537 dug wells, and 955 springs surveyed prior to 1956 by the US Geological Survey in the Navajo and Hopi Indian Reservations, and the results of bailing and pumping tests, compiled in order to determine the feasibility of developing ground-water supplies for stock, domestic, institutional, and industr ial use, to compile an inventory of the existing ground-water supplies, to make a comprehensive investigation of the geology and determining the factors that control the occurrence and movement of ground water, and to appraise the water potential for future development.
