One of series of geohydrologic reconnaissance studies made in Lake Mead National Recreation Area. Except for the Colorado and Virgin Rivers the streamflow is very weak and not consistent. Five areas are identified for potential ground-water development: Grand Wash and Tassi Ranch area, AZ; Devils Cove in Hells Kitchen Area, NV; Scanlon Hill and Gregg Wash Area, NV; Snap Canyon and Pierce Canyon area, AZ; Twin Springs Wash and Quail Spring Wash area, NV.
