Half of ths sheet is a color geologic map of Chaco Culture National Historical Park, identification of map units, and small cross section. The rest is mainly text, with about a quarter-sheet on geologic setting, surficial deposits, mass wasting, and folds and artesian water. Another quarter-sheet gives an overview of the archaeology of Chaco Canyon and bibliography, with an index map and geologic time chart.
