This report and accompanying map includes road logs for the three principal roadways on the west slope of the Sierra Nevada that are adjacent to, or pass through, parts of Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks. These are state route 180 from Fresno to Cedar grove, State Route 198 from Visalia to Sequoia, ending at the General Highway near Grant grove, and county road 375 from Three Rivers to Mineral King. The road logs are based on geologic mapping conducted by the U.S. Geological Survey. Report includes geologic maps of various areas in the parks.
