On 08/16/2000 I accompanied a scheduled FERC inspection of the Bradley Lake Power Project. My interest in participating was to inspect the recently rebuilt Nuka River diversion structure and to express the NPS interest is maintaining a 5 cfs flow to the Nuka River as stated in the 1986 agreement with the Alaska Power Authority. The 1986 agreement is basically to provide 5 cfs of flow to the Nuka River during the period of June 1 through September 30 annually. Flow is measured by a USGS stream gauge just below the Nuka Diversion Structure. Hourly flow data can be seen by the operator at the powerhouse. NPS can see daily flows on the Web, and USGS sends yearly records.
