Objectives 1. Obtain a census of harbor seals in upper Northwestern Fjord for comparison with past counts. 2. Collect information on ice distribution, composition and density for comparison with future surveys and with previous surveys in other areas. 3. Collect information on disturbance of harbor seals by vessels and aircraft. 4. Collect detailed information on environmental conditions that may be affecting haulout behavior of seals.
