1. Develop a model for predicting where black oystercatchers (BLOY) are likely to nest along the park coastline. 2. Estimate the number of breeding pairs of BLOY along the park coast based on pair density and habitat model. Working Hypothesis BLOY nesting sites are not randomly distributed, but instead are dictated by shoreline type where the actual nest is built and proximity to foraging areas.
