1. Coordinate efforts with other National Parks and agencies with similar concerns, especially the Glacier Ranger District of the Chugach National Forest and Glacier Bay National Park. 2. Conduct a baseline inventory of nesting shorebirds along the KFNP coast, especially in the Aialik and Northwestern districts. 3. Determine the level of disturbance of nesting shorebirds caused by human activity in those districts. 4. Write a nesting shorebird management plan for the KFNP coast that includes a long-term monitoring plan. 5. Monitor nesting shorebird activity and levels of human disturbance.
