I. GOALS ACCOMPLISHED A. Resource Management: 1. Conducted harbor seal pupping and molting counts in McCarty Fjord. 2. Monitored bald eagle nest activity and productivity in the Nuka Bay Ranger District. 3. Maintained resource base inventories of birds, marine and terrestrial mammals, geologic/hydrologic conditions, salmon runs and vegetation in the Nuka Bay Ranger District. 4. Inventoried and surveyed backcountry campsites in the Nuka Bay Ranger District. 5. Conducted site visits to the Kinney Mining Claim and Beauty Bay Mine. 6. Recorded daily weather observations at the Nuka Bay Ranger Station. 7. Collect weekly phytoplankton samples in McCarty Fjord.
