Presents a comprehensive inventory of bird species and develops recommendations for long-term monitoring at 6 national parks (ALPO, EISE, GETT, HOFU, JOFL, and VAFO). This document describes an inventory program for birds that will take place at six national parks in Pennsylvania: Allegheny Portage RR NHS (ALPO), Eisenhower NHS (EISE), Gettysburg NMP(GETT), Hopewell Furnace NHS (HOFU), Johnstown Flood NMem (JOFL), and Valley Forge NHP (VAFO). The report gives descriptions of study areas, survey methods, statistical analysis, information storage, monitoring plans, progress to date, and future research.
