Northern Colorado Plateau Network herpetofauna inventory, 2002 annual report

Platenberg R and Graham T. 2003. Northern Colorado Plateau Network herpetofauna inventory, 2002 annual report. USGS, Canyonlands Field Station. Moab, UT

This report comprises a final report for second-year parks (BRCA, CARE, CEBR, FOBU, GOSP, PISP, TICA, ZION) and an annual report for first-year parks (ARCH, COLM, NABR) in providing a baseline inventory of herpetofauna with the goal of documenting 90% of species present. A secondary aim of the report is to assess general abundance and distribution of species present, in an attempt to identify park-specific species of special concern. The report includes methods, individual park findings, field effort results and discussion and references. Appendix 1 is a master list of reptile and amphibian species in the 11 NCPN park units surveyed in 2001 and 2002. Figures include inventory effort, survey effectiveness, species accumulation curves, and maps.
