Utah State University, Department of Fisheries and Wildlife Intent of study was to assess the nature of the influence of visitor use, along with other environmental and biological variables, on brown bear behavior and activity patterns, and specifically examine factors influencing the activities of bear families. Includes: methods, fish availability and its relationship to bear activity, age-sex class composition, patterns of bear activity and human activity, and implications of the research.
