NPS During the 1990 field season, approximately 450 hours of observation were conducted on Brooks River, and 75 hours on Margot Creek. Bear activity and human use were monitored using both scan and focal sampling procedures. Data were analysed and compared with patterns of use reported for 1988 and 1989.
